Description
Capital Productions proudly presents… Radium GirlsBy D.W. Gregory Based on true events, this story takes us to the U.S. Radium Corporation from 1918 to 1928. Radium, a new “miracle” substance, is mined and used as a glow in the dark paint for wartime watches. Painting these watch dials is an ideal job for young women, but when they start becoming ill, Grace (Gracen Bayers) takes the corporation to court. This drama takes us through the complexities of fighting for workplace safety and a corporate leader’s desire to keep his company alive.
