At the River: Struggle and Grace in the Segregated Description
In the film, director and filmmaker Carolyn Crowder interviews Presbyterian ministers who served congregations in the south during the Civil Rights Era about their experiences combatting racism in their local communities and congregations. Through interviews and hymns, Crowder tells the stories of courageous ministers who “tried to do the right thing when the right thing was difficult and dangerous to do.” Following the screening, Crowder will lead participants in a discussion and dialogue. |
