Description
From tragedy to triumph, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 5 evokes the struggle of the human spirit versus fate. Hear this mighty struggle as it plays out on stage with Arizona Pro Arte.
"Watch & Try!" Before the concert, starting at 2:30 p.m. To the sounds of a string quartet, professional dancers in period costumes will demonstrate the dance style popular during Tchaikovsky's day. You'll then get a chance to do the dance along with the live music! This pre-concert demonstration is FREE!Cosponsored event by AZ Pro Arte This performance is part of Arizona Pro Arte's Symphonic Shots series. This unique series of performances are a great way to enjoy classical music. Each performance lasts around fifty minutes with no intermission. The music for each concert may vary from masterpieces of the literature to collaborative events with artists, dancers, or other artistic disciplines. The reduced performance time makes them easily accessible to a wide range of audience members: from people who want to try a live classical music performance for the first time to those with families. It is also a wonderful way for concertgoers wanting to get a kick in their day from an amazing performance without having to commit to two and a half hours for a regular performance. Additionally, concerts that are a part of our “Symphonic Shots” series have reduced ticket prices versus regular full length performances. Performance ticket prices: 7.00 students, 9.00 senior/military and 12.00 general public Cosponsored event by AZ Pro Arte
