Announcing a change to our spring production! We will now be doing an Original Play titled Never Runs Smooth... Shakespeare on Love, written by Dr. Brian Ray This play lets us look, in a focused way, at the many ways that Love is seen in the plays of Shakespeare. We join 4 couples who gather to explore the theme of Love in Shakespeare's plays as they explore several scenes and discuss what they reveal about love. In the end, they all have a "new" outlook on Love. It's a play filled with some corny humor and happy, and maybe a little sappy, relationship stories. What we come away with at the end of it all, is that perhaps Shakespeare was right - the course of true love never does run smooth! |
