The HEMET FILM FESTIVAL is an annual celebration of independent films hosted at the HISTORIC HEMET THEATRE. The inaugural event will take place on November 10th and 11th. The opening night party will be held on Friday the 10th (6pm-9pm) and then Saturday the 11th will be a full day of curated short films organized into Blocks. EACH BLOCK WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A FILMMAKER Q&A BLOCK 1 from 12PM to 1PM spotlights DOCUMENTARY Short Films BLOCK 2 from 1:30PM to 2:30PM features ANIMATED / EXPERIMENTAL Shorts Films BLOCK 3 from 3PM to 3:40PM presents NARRATIVE Short Films BLOCK 4 from 4:10PM to 5PM showcases SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FILMMAKERS Short Films DINNER BREAK FROM 5PM TO 6:30PM - SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES AND GET SOME DINNER! BLOCK 5 from 6:30PM to 7:30PM highlights STUDENT SHOWCASE Short Films BLOCK 6 from 8PM to 9:00PM promotes MADE IN HEMET Short Films PLEASE NOTE - TIME BLOCKS ARE APPROXIMATE All events will be held at the Historic Hemet Theatre, where filmmakers and guests can experience this one-of-a-kind location. The theater will be selling concessions, beer and wine during the festivities. The ALL-ACCESS PASS GIVES YOU ACCESS TO EVERYTHING SO YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE ENTIRE EVENT, INCLUDING ALL FILM BLOCKS AND ACCESS TO THE OPENING PARTY FRIDAY NIGHT! Come mingle with local filmmakers; they are interesting and strange people! While it's possible to buy individual tickets for each block ($5 each), the ALL-ACCESS PASS is the BEST VALUE and a GREAT WAY TO SUPPORT THE FESTIVAL!
