The 17th Annual UCF-Orlando Jazz Festival returns in February for two nights of extraordinary live jazz! Friday February 23rd Oliver Nelson Jr plays Oliver Nelson, including tunes from Blues and the Abstract truth, and hits like Stolen Moments. Joining Oliver will be Antonio Hart, Jason Marsalis, Jeff Rupert, Tom Parmerter, Richard Drexler, Saul Dautch and Charlie Silva at 8pm. On Saturday the 24th it's Akiko Tsuruga on Hammond organ, and her quintet! Joe Magnarelli on trumpet, Jerry Weldon on sax, Ed Cherry on Guitar and Byron Landham on drums. Special appearance too by the Flying Horse big band and jazz professors. Tickets are $25, UCF faculty and staff $10. No charge for students with a valid UCF ID.
