Transformations 2024: JOURNEYS is an intimate, mixed media event creatively commemorating the tenacity of women, and the importance of prioritizing one's own health and wellness. The show integrates fashion, live painting and a classic vocal recital by Chelsea Betz, mezzo-soprano, teacher and ultrarunner, with pianist Michelle Hynson. Featured musical repertoire and performance art will reflect upon this theme.

Women are givers, often putting everyone around them first while neglecting their own well-being. Long-term this can take a toll on body, mind, and spirit. This inspiring event celebrates the strength and generous nature of women, and reminds us that we must also take care of ourselves. 

Talented local artists Hannah Ricke and Neda Stevic will create art live during both the matinee and evening performances, using the musical repertoire of the vocal recital as their muse.  Selected work of each artist will also be on display for sale.

Runway fashion will be creatively integrated into show choreography, offering a unique perspective on the female form.  Fashion looks provided by Corner Closet Boutique in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.

Once Cedarburg’s lumberyard, the LumbAryard is a historic property owned by Dr. Jeanie Crawford, who converted the buildings on campus into creative, rentable spaces.  The primary building houses SBR (SWIM BIKE RUN), YogaOne Studio, and the Back Space, a dedicated space used for hosting unique happenings focused on health and wellness.
