We are honored to invite you to celebrate the Graduation of the Class of 2024. Commencement is a time marked with a ceremony in which a diploma is conferred unto grade twelve students as they are honored by crossing the commencement stage. Your presence is a significant gesture of support and pride as our graduates embark on the next exciting chapter of their lives.

Arriving:

Grads and guests are asked to enter through the Van Vliet Complex entrance on 87th Ave. Signage and staff will be present to assist with directions. Paid parking is available in the Education Parkade (8779 114 St NW) and the Stadium Car Park (116 Street 89 Ave NW). Ample additional parking is located in lots and parkades around the UofA campus. 

Seating and Tickets:
This event offers general seating only with the doors opening at 1:30 PM. There are NO assigned seats. A ticket is not required for young children who do not require a seat. If you require accessible seating, please indicate this on the ticket purchase form for designated area allocation.

During the Ceremony:
Restrooms are available inside the venue for your convenience. To ensure a smooth ceremony and respect for the graduates, please be aware there is a no-re-entry policy once it begins. We kindly ask that you remain seated while your child crosses the stage for a dignified ceremony. All photography must be done from your designated seat. The approximate length of the ceremony will be 3 hours.

To ensure access to graduation commencement tickets, please complete the actions below. Tickets will only be available for purchase once all requirements are met.

• Clear All Outstanding Fees - All student fees, including the graduation fee, must be settled in full before you can purchase tickets. School and grad fees are accessible on SchoolZone.

• Prepare Your Student ID - You will need your student ID number to complete the graduation ticket purchase process. Use your student ID in the CODE section.

• Required Code Entry - Student ID numbers must be typed in as a required CODE. If outstanding fees remain on SchoolZone the code will respond with an alert that states invalid code.
