Shakespearean Ecologies: Performance Showcase at the Botanical Gardens

Adapted works from Shakespeare, revealing human-nature relationships - including: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, As You Like It, Comedy of Errors

Admission is free but spots are very limited for this event. Note: actual tickets are not required.

If you reserve a seat but cannot attend, please cancel the reservation promptly as a courtesy to other prospective patrons.

Note: this showcase will start indoors, at the Cornell Botanic Gardens Nevin Welcome Center upstairs in room 205 – and from there, involve audience following the performers around the nearby grounds for a succession of scenes.

Audience should expect to: stand for a good stretch of time, or be prepared to sit on the ground, or bring a lightweight cushion/camp-chair/stool. Umbrellas, bug spray & a water bottle are encouraged (and for the Sat matinee sunglasses, hat, sunscreen as desired).

In the event of rain, performances will be moved to the Black Box Theatre, SB21 Schwartz Center
