Overview
Libra season. Time to bring the house and the tech into sonic equilibrium. Who do we entrust with this crucial balancing act? Bouquet. nominates the twin spirits of Analog Soul to charter the mission. Return to our den of flowers and feelings, and dance electric and eclectic to a spectrum of sound gems: obscure recordings, techno mindtwists, disco heaters, and jackin’ heavy-hitting house. Watch Analog Soul harness each other’s energy to balance the scales, and bridge the mind and body.
Analog Soul holds down a residency at the revered Nowadays in Brooklyn, and play regularly at Bossa Nova Civic Club. They’ve played Panorama Bar’s Klubnacht and Dusk Camp. Analog Soul’s versatility in covering a wide range, from 70’s Mongolian sounds to 80’s Japanese experimental music, and highlighting obscurities from deep in the crates, has given them opportunities to impress the seen-it-all New York crowd. They’ve played disco classics at an art gala, and psychedelic techno at an afterhours. They’ve finished an all night set nostalgically with “Tom’s Diner” by Suzanne Vega. Putting ego aside, their genuine enjoyment of music is the foundation of a hard-to-come-by sensibility about how to connect with the room.
