PRE-SOUTH GAMETACULAR 2019

Our favorite time of year is rapidly approaching – PAX South! And San Antonio Nerd Night is ready to celebrate in a big way by hosting the 3rd Pre-South Gametacular. Come out and kick off a full weekend of fun and games by supporting a great cause. This year, Nerd Night will be supporting The Rape Crisis Center (TRC). All proceeds from our silent auction will go toward supporting their education programs. TRC representatives will also be at the event so our guests can learn more about their work and ways to support their mission.

Following last year’s success, we are again using "pay-what-you-like" registration. This means if you'd like to support this event financially, just add on a small (or large!) donation when you complete your General Admission registration. As always, this event is completely free to attend** but we would appreciate the generous support from our community. Pre-registering also makes check-in easier and faster at the door.

This year's event is taking place at Dave & Buster's at the Shops at Rivercenter, across from the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. We have secured private (and quiet!) meeting space inside the restaurant with plenty of room for all your gaming needs!

We are excited to host Gametacular at D&B and offer you their food, drink, and play options. Their video and carnival-style games are not included in admission to our event, but power cards are available for purchase. Please note: Outside food and drinks are not allowed.

We are excited to announce special perks for those who support the Pre-South Gametacular!

We have a limited run of commemorative pins! These are hard enamel like Pinny Arcade pins*, and the design was donated to San Antonio Nerd Night by a local artist friend, Mark Cooley. If you'd like a pin, select one of the two donation add-ons that include a pin when registering. We only have 100 of these available, so get them while you can!

We are also offering discounted $12 parking passes through special arrangement with The Shops at Rivercenter and Dave & Busters. Normally parking is $20 or more for the length of an event like Gametacular. For $12, you can pick up a parking pass that will allow you to park all day! The deadline to purchase these discounted passes is 12:00am 1/11/2019, so don't miss out! Parking passes can be picked up on the day of the event at the Gametacular check-in table.

We have each of the above options available on their own, or you can save a couple bucks and get the Admission + Pin & Parking Pass add-on option for $20. This will get you a limited edition pin, a parking pass, and admission to our game night.
