Attention Kyokushin Karate enthusiasts! Great Lakes Kyokushin will be hosting a seminar featuring Shihan Michael Monaco, 8th Dan Black Belt and the Chairman of the International Federation of Karate of America. Shihan Monaco has trained directly under the Kyokushin Founder Sosai Mas Oyama, IFK founder Hanshi Steve Arneil and Soshu Shigeru Oyama. This is a rare opportunity to learn Kyokushin Karate directly from Shihan Monaco, who is visiting from his USA-IFK Honbu Dojo in Rochester, NY.
Seminar participants will also have the opportunity to receive instruction from Hanshi Albert Mady, Isshinrru 9th Dan Black Belt (Mady’s Martial Arts in Windsor, Ontario, Canada) and from the IFK Midwest regional chief 5th Dan Black Belt Shihan Jerry Poe (American Vital Karate, Harrod, OH).
All sessions are at the Farmington STEAM Academy Gymnasium.
