The Oregon State Capitol Foundation is excited to announce our inaugural evening concert at the Capitol in Salem!
Local celebrity Michael Allen Harrison will captivate concert-goers with a 90-minute piano performance on Nov. 3, 2017, at 7:30 p.m. in the House Chamber at the Oregon State Capitol.
About the Performer
Michael Allen Harrison is an iconic songwriter and pianist from Portland, who delivers music to the heart. His classical contemporary style carves a distinct niche of timeless music that has connected with thousands throughout his three-decade career. Known for his giving spirit, Michael is the founder and president of the Snowman Foundation, the Ten Grands concert series and the beloved Christmas at the Old Church concert series.
About the piano
The Steinway and Sons piano Michael will play is a gift to the Oregon State Capitol House Chamber made possible thanks to the efforts of the Oregon State Capitol Foundation Board of Directors, and the generosity of Portland Piano Company and donors like you.
Doors to the Capitol will open at 6:30 p.m. for a social hour with no-host bar. General seating begins at 7
p.m. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.
