A vocal and dance
experience, passionate, dynamic, stimulating and romantically
unforgettable. My Fair Ladies are four female artists expressing their
God given talent on stage. Performing song styles in four categories, French,
Country, Popular Classic's and Rhythm & Blues/Soul.
My Fair Ladies, was
a year long search to complete our project of mixed music styles (solo artists)
with an all female line up, ages 50 plus.
This show will amaze and thrill you with our mix ed variety in songs and
performance. Featured Artist
Shere Thu Thuy Vietnamese 80's Italo Disco legend. Shere Thu Thuy was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and at the age of 15, she would sing for the American GI officers club in Long Binh, South Vietnam. She arrived in San Francisco, December 24, 1970.. From 1970 to 1983, Shere started an acting career in television and movies. Some of her works included the hit TV series " All My Children", "Highway To Heaven", Too Close For Comfort", and "China Beach." Shere's Vietnamese heritage was also utilized in movie roles connected to the Vietnam war. Some of her works included "A Rumor of War", "Don't Cry It's only Thunder", "Wanted Dead Or Alive", "Casualties of War" and "Rambo". In 1983 Shere returned to music with her brother Alan Nguyen and his band "Survivor" in Burbank' California. Shere is best known for being the first Vietnamese to create American original songs in the style of Italo Disco & New Wave. Her hit singles were "Gonna Lose My Heart" and "It's Only You" in 1987, followed by "I Feel Your Love" in 1988, "Prisoner of Love" in 1989 and "Bring My Heart To Light" in 1990. This heightened her popularity beyond her colleagues and has toured all over the world, Paris France, England, Germany, Italy etc. Today Shere is still performing, and has joined a singing group of female vocalists called “My Fair Ladies”. Featuring Shelia Diggs Leader ship, Enthusiasm, humor, motivation and energy are a must in my life.
At the age of eleven: I participated in talent shows throughout the duration of my school years, and sustained the participation in talent shows to this very day. My Most notable competitions are listed as Riversides Got Talent, in California, The National Karaoke Talent Quest in Laughlin Nevada, 2011. And in the City of Hemet, CA., Voice of the valley. I have competed in several competitions as a contestant and a winner, which gave me the opportunity to Judge in talent shows.
Besides the talent shows: I also performed with a band called “Masque” in Vegas, Delmar Fair in San Diego, Calif. In addition, I sang the National Anthem for the San Diego Padre’s - And for the U.S Navy Chief Ceremony.
Other credits: Are as follows, summer jams, weddings, jazz festival, and many outdoor events. I also tried out for Americas got talent,
Theater experience. I performed in a play called the 3 Divas, along with my performances at the lyceum Theater in San Diego California.
Cable TV: I have performed on local Cable Company shows in California.
Special Credits: I have been a ventriloquist for 12 years with neon Black light puppets and normal puppets, that surrounds severely disabled children.
