Anyone attending his concerts at the famed Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, Dizzy's in San Diego, or catching his current club appearances, will agree: legendary flutist Tim Weisberg continues to joyfully satisfy audiences' thirst for a distinctive mix of Rock and Pop served with a twist of Jazz.

Though he opened the Monterey Jazz Festival as a grad student in 1970, Tim was "eating the forbidden fruit of rock n' roll," as he puts it. With his passion for multi-genre music, including Funk and R&B, it wasn't long before he was sharing the stage with the likes of Jefferson Starship, Frank Zappa and Bruce Springsteen. Soon his unique musicianship was heard on a wide range of albums, paired with performers from The Carpenters to Dave Mason. Meanwhile, his first solo album, released on A&M in 1971, triumphed with an innovative sound of rock-jazz-pop fusion that promptly turned him into an industry pioneer.

Tim had released eight albums of his own by the time he teamed with the late Dan Fogelberg on the 1978 hit album, "Twin Sons Of Different Mothers." When this collaboration quickly went platinum, Tim's virtuosity was indelibly stamped on the world music map. Tim’s new album "Another Byte," is available on I Tunes, in Stores and from www.timweisberg.com .

Long regarded as forerunners of the jam band culture, Tim and his bands played to crowds in some of rock's most notable venues. Now, as long-standing fans flock to hear him, a new wave of enthusiasts has emerged. In an era of unrivaled musical diversity, they appreciate the artistry of a true original who performs a full spectrum of exuberant fusion that rocks, rolls and resounds.

Some of the top venues where Tim has performed: Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Colorado; Greek Theatre, Los Angeles; The Troubadour, Los Angeles; Monterey Jazz Festival; Catalina Jazz Festival; ldyllwild Jazz in the Pines Festival; Merriweather Post Pavilion, Maryland; The Barns at Wolf Trap, Virginia; Orchestra Hall, Boston; Orchestra Hall, Minneapolis.
