Hilde Skappel - Threading Thirty. A Musical Theatre Concert in Celebration of The Drifting Mind. 

Norwegian singer-actress Hilde Skappel is finally hitting the beautiful thirties, and celebrates by performing her favorite repertoire ranging from Broadway standards to contemporary work, in addition to original material from the songwriting duo Stahr & Skappel. Accompanied by Christian Stahr.

Hilde is an actress, soprano, lyricist and writer from Oslo, Norway. She received her Musical Theatre Certificate from The Baardar Academy in Oslo, Norway, and her Acting Certificate from The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York. In 2013, she received The American Scandinavian Society's Grant Award for outstanding achievements in her field and for her dedication to Scandinavian Culture. In New York, she has done productions like Killers and Other Family, Love So Dear, Waiting For Lefty and Oedipus Rex in addition to numerous film projects. In Norway, she has done Musical Theatre Productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar, When Midnight Strikes and A Chorus Line/Into The Woods. She has translated the Musicals Parade, Bat Boy, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Grand Hotel and Spelling Bee for professional Norwegian productions. http://www.hildeskappel.com. 

In 2016, she founded Stahr & Skappel with Christian L. Stahr, composer, pianist, orchestrator and music director from Sarpsborg, Norway. He holds a MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. Recent works include composer for several web series and short films, as well as music director for Burning Coal Theatre’s production of Sunday in the Park with George in Raleigh. He also is the pianist for the Dramatists Guild Fund and composer and music director for the annual production of the family show “St. Olaf the Fortunate” in Sarpsborg, Norway. http://www.stahrmusic.com, http://www.stahrskappel.com.

Sabina Petra is a Dutch actress/singer/composer, who trained at The Conservatoire of Alkmaar, NL and AADA in New York. Joseph Spinelli is an American Actor/Musician/Singer-Songwriter from Long Island, NY. His most recent credits include RENT at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Under the creative guidance of Original Cast member Anthony Rapp) and American Idiot (Johnny) in Clarksville, TN. He recently released his first EP titled "Certainly the End of Something, or Other", available on Spotify, Amazon, YouTube and iTunes, and has been playing concerts at venues like Bowery Electric, Mercury Lounge, and Sidewalk Café. https://soundcloud.com/user-944375641
