The 2018 Concert Tour of the Theodossi Spassov Folk Quintet is dedicated to the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The tour has been organized with the assistance of Bulgarian cultural organizations, Consulates General of the Republic of Bulgaria in the United States and Cnada and under the auspices of the Embassies of the Republic of Bulgaria in Ottawa and Washington, D.C.

Under the direction of world-renowned kaval (traditional, wooden shepherd’s flute) virtuoso Theodossi Spassov,  the stellar musicians of the quintet will present performances of traditional Bulgarian folk music in a unique and exciting manner. Their dazzling technical and musical skills will appeal not only to individuals in Bulgarian communities, but also to a broad and diverse North-American audience.
