Das Ich is a German electronic music group formed in 1989. The group, fronted by Stefan Ackermann and Bruno Kramm, were one of the prominent founders of and contributors to "Neue Deutsche Todeskunst" (New German Death Art) a musical movement in the early 1990s. The German term das Ich makes reference to the Freudian concept James Strachey translated as "ego" (lit. "The I").

Former Velvet Acid Christ live member (2013-2016) working on his solo project, Christof/Krztov played over 30 shows across the US, Canada, and Europe with VAC and spent most of 2017 touring the US solo as Distorted Retrospect, opening for Front 242, Severed Heads, Daniel Myer/Architect, and Velvet Acid Christ to name a few. His second EP, Fragment 2 will be out this summer.
