2.  Brenda K Starr

New York-born singer Brenda K. Starr had the opportunity to make her first demo at the age of 12. Two years later, Starr was signing up for her first record deal and climbing music charts with Grammy-nominated pop ballad "I Still Believe" and a club/dance song called "What You See Is What You Get."

3. Pretty Poison featuring Jade Starling

Best known as one half of the late 80s duo PRETTY POISON (#1 platinum hit “Catch Me I’m Falling” on Virgin Records) returned to the Top 5 on the Sept. 5^th 2015 Billboard Club Chart with “BETTER and BETTER” which peaked at #3 alongside of Demi Lovato, Icona Pop, Kelly Clarkson and Disclosure. “BETTER and BETTER” is not only the 3^rd single from the critically acclaimed “CAPTIVE” album but also the highest charted record featuring JADE STARLING since “When I Look Into Your Eyes” topped the charts in 1988. In addition to “BETTER and BETTER”, “CAPTIVE” has also yielded the Billboard club hits “INSOMNIAK” and “THINK ABOUT U”.

4. Lisette Melendez

Lisette Melendez (born 1967) is an American freestyle/Latin pop/dance-pop singer. She is best known for her 1991 hits "Together Forever", #35 at the Billboard Hot 100 and "A Day In My Life (Without You)". Both songs were such big dance music hits that they are credited as helping renew interest in Freestyle music in the early 90s, which had been fading in popularity due to the rise of mainstream pop music and grunge at the time.
