Years of Reunification and show our united strength as a community coming
together in solidarity for Israel at Celebrate Israel Festival.
Presented by the Israeli-American Council (IAC) and with the generous support
of Naty & Debbie Saidoff, Celebrate Israel Festival, the
largest Jewish happening in Los Angeles, will take place on Sunday May 7, 2017
at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center (Rancho Park) located at 2551 Motor Ave. Los
Angeles from 11am - 6pm.
Over 15,000 community members will celebrate the State of Israel with live
entertainment,food, art, culture and activities for families, kids and
tweens. Join us as we experience the Israeli-American and Jewish-American
culture together.

Experience Jerusalem in Los Angeles
This year’s festival will give attendees the opportunity to visit various sites
of Jerusalem, learn about the Old City and travel back in time to learn
about the magnificent history of Jerusalem.
TOWER OF DAVID
As you stroll through Shuk Machane Yehuda, you will not believe your eyes when you see our own Jerusalem landmarks throughout the park. Tower of David standing 28-ft tall without a sought will capture your eyes and make your heart skip a beat. Stop by to see the magnificent photograph exhibit of Noam Chen who will share the past and present Jerusalem through breathtaking photographs. While visiting here, don't forget to stop by to create Jewelry and decor from mosaic and the latest archeological findings near the Tower of David.
WESTERN WALL (KOTEL)
Visit our 32ft-long Kotel where you can place your note. It will be delivered to the Holy Land this summer and placed in the Kotel in your behalf!
KOTEL TUNNEL
Take a tour through the Kotel Tunnels and learn about the history of Jerusalem and the many hidden gems of one of the oldest cities in the world. At the end of the tunnel, meet the Kotel Tunnel guide from Israel who will explain the history of the Tunnels and Jerusalem.
MAIN STAGE
Enjoy performances throughout the day including Israeli mega star Dudu Aharon and OBoy, Israel's teen sensation and an official ceremony with local dignitaries that will be kicked-off by the Tiger Squadron flyover. Throughout the day you can find a variety of entertainment showcasing Jewish culture, local singers and Israeli Folk Dance Company “Machol Lohet” sponsored by MATI or even take part of Israeli folk dancing taking place in front of the bar.
SO MANY FUN THINGS TO DO FOR KIDS
A non-stop action packed stage will feature performances in Hebrew and English including a Sportuly and Naama Super Al. Stop by the IAC Keshet Create Lab design, build, create and be inspired at our famous CreateLab, open all day with multiple FREE art projects. Express yourself and enjoy arts and crafts with our entire community. for fun for the whole family! Enjoy high-energy entertainment throughout the day: Face painting, Jerusalem's biblical zoo with camel rides and petting zoo, balloon art, fun amusement rides for the entire family. For our crawling guests, we have a special Softplay area for toddlers so they can roam around and parents can relax for a bit.
MEGA CHALLAH BAKE
For the first time at Celebrate Israel Festival we will be putting on a Mega Challah bake for all girls, mothers, and daughters of our community and we need your help. Please join us as we unite together for a spiritual and meaningful moment filled with prayer and love.
JIMENA PAVILION
Stop by the Jimena Pavilion, one of the festival partner , bring your friends and play some Shesh Besh as you relax in the shade. For those who are foodies, this is also your place. Stop by to create your own cook book and collect some traditional recipes for your new cookbook to try at home.
AMI SCHOOL PAVILION
Looking for more creative activities? Ami School, another festival partner will have a pavilion with so many fun and creative projects for all ages. We can't wait to see what you will create!
SHUK MACHANE YEHUDA
Stroll through one of the most colorful spots in Jerusalem. Walking through the Shuk, you will feel right at home with artists from Israel and local vendors selling art, jewelry, Judaica, home goods and gifts.
IAC LEAD BEER GARDEN
Stop by for drink, catch up with old friends and meet new ones at the bar (21+ w valid ID). This is the place to meet and mingle with other young professionals at the bar. Don't forget to try out your singing talents at the Karaoke area at the bar. Glance at our schedule to see what performances are taking place at the bar as well.
DID SOMEONE SAY KOSHER?
Want to taste some authentic “Jerusalem Bagel” and fantastic baked goods? Stop by the café and share some laughs and great coffee with friends. Looking for the best Hummus, Falafel or Shawarma in LA? We guarantee you that they are all at the festival. You can have all three and all the food is 100% Kosher!
IAC BINA CHILL LOUNGE
This is for sure one of the “it places” to be and catch up with old friends and make new friends. Relax and socialize at the Moroccan tent.
MY JERUSALEM INSTAGRAM COMPETITION
What does your Jerusalem look like? This year, we are looking for images of Jerusalem through your eyes. Post your photos of places, faces, people, food, shuk and so much more from Jerusalem with the hashtag #CelebrateIsraelFestival or #CelebrateIsraelFest. The top picks will be displayed at the festival photography exhibit.
AMERICAN FRIENDS OF MAGEN DAVID ADOM
They are true friend of the festival! Stop by their red pavilion, check out the ambulances and fun activities they have for kids. Please don't forget to stop by and donate blood! Every drop counts and saves a life.
#LIVE4ADAM - GIFT OF LIFE PAVILION
In memory of Adam Krief, Gift of Life will be located at the festival taking swabs to find matches for those are in desperate need of bone marrow matches to save their lives. Save a life, and stop by for just a few minutes.
"AHAVA" INSTALATION
We love Jerusalem so much that we decided to recreate the famous “Ahava” statue from the Israel Museum. Stop by and take your photo there and show us how much you love Israel by posting your photos on Instagram and hashtag #CelebrateIsraelFest

Outside food and beverage is prohibited.
Dogs are also prohibited.
