Montford Park Players (MPP) was originally founded in 1973 by Hazel Robinson. The first performance by MPP that debuted at a local park on Montford Avenue included Shakespeare's As You Like It. Since 1973, Montford Park Players have dedicated themselves to performing works of Shakespeare for both entertainment and educational purposes. Today, the Montford Park Players provides a free outdoor theater experience for all of those who have a love for theater.
