DRACULA- EVENING PERFORMANCE
MURRAY-DODGE HALL PRINCETON UNIVERSITY
PRINCETON, NJ 08544
A feminist revenge fantasy, loosely based on the classic tale of the same name. Set “almost now,” Hamill’s retelling of Dracula bridges the Gothic, 19th century story with the present day, in which Hamill asserts that “The monsters look just like us.” After Jonathan Harker goes missing on a work trip gone wrong and Lucy Westerna starts getting sick with an unknown illness, Doctor Van Helsing is called to get to the bottom of the mystery. But this mystery turns out to be with a foe she knows all too well.
