Overview
When his Majesty King Richard returns from the third crusade, he finds his court is gripped by chaos. In his absence, his best and most beloved knight, Sir Robin Hood is on the chopping block, accused of the murder of Jonathan Bill by the King’s very own brother, Prince John. In an attempt to crack the case and place the deluder, he hears testimony from a variety of unreliable and some frankly frivolous witnesses. They all have their own outlandish retellings of the wretched day, from the sheriff's detective noir story to an elaborate and buoyant mini-musical from Alan-a-Dale. But what will the witnesses say? Is Robin Hood innocent? Or is Prince John really telling the truth? Find out in this exciting production The Adventures of Robin Hood and the Trial for Truth!
