The difference between a one time and recurring event
One Time Events
A one time event will only take place a single time and is unique from what would be otherwise known as a recurring event. An example of a one time event would be a concert or a traveling art exhibit that is happening once.
Recurring Events
In contrast, an example of a recurring event would be an event that happens regularly, annually or on a designated day of the week.
For example, a theater production that is showing twice a day for the next week. If you know you are going to repeat an event more than once, be sure to follow the instructions provided for creating a recurring event. Either of these options can be created by selecting the correct option from the Purplepass promoter dashboard when creating a new event.
Selecting your event type
- Log in to your Purplepass promoter dashboard
- Click “Create New Event” located at the top of the promoter dashboard in the top navigation menu.

- NOTE: a popup menu will appear with three different options. Select either a one time event or a recurring event

- Once you select the type of event you want to create, enter the requested information in the corresponding sections.
