Overview
Fun, Food, Singing, Dancing in an authenic style Oktoberfest, but with the quaint Yachats personality.
Online tickets for SATURDAY events only. Friday is Pay at the door.
Friday, September 27
5:30 PM FREE Tapping of the Keg by Yachats Mayor and other dignataries.
Yachats Brew provided by Rogue Brewery of Newport.
6:00 PM Polkafest Dancing, Brats and Beer A la Carte - Pay at the door.
Accordion Polka Band Learn the "Chicken Dance"
Saturday, September 28
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM FREE Village Volkswalk Commons Pavilion
Pick up Passport, visit local shops, get passport stamped. Also: "Find the Gnomes" - die Schatzsuche (Treasure Hunt) for children and adults. Return by 2:00 PM Prizes!
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM $50 Oktoberfest Dinner/Dance 1st Seating Yachats Commons
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM $50 Oktoberfest Dinner/Dance 2nd Seating Yachats Commons
Authentic German Dinner catered by popular chef, Anthony Velarde of Florence
Music provided by Accordion Polka Band and Yachats Big Band
Dance Instruction provided by professional dance team
Special Yachats Brew provided by Rogue Brewery (Non-alcoholic beverages also available)
