Festival artistic director Linda Chesis saw Cooperstown as an ideal location for a music festival. The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival began with three events in 1999, and has since offered the region more than 150 performances, from classical to contemporary, jazz to bluegrass, and cabaret to kids’ concerts.

Attacca Playlist

Pairing new with classic, Attacca Quartet will perform their “Playlist” which includes selections from their two GRAMMY-winning albums, 'Orange' and ‘Evergreen,' in addition to music by Finneas O’Connell (which they recorded for the TV series “Disclaimer”) and Radiohead, concluding the program with Beethoven’s "Quartet in C-sharp minor, Op. 131."
